Most developers have said that they sell at least 10 times as many copies of a game on Quest 2 that is also available on PC.

The Quest 2 is the best selling VR headset by a huge margin, and what's actually making the VR market viable for developers to make games for. If it wasn't for Facebook pushing VR, the platform would probably die on the vine.

I'm just so gutted that I won't be able to experience this because facebook has completely abandoned a product that they released so recently and I supported. Something I had spent so much on was so quickly left behind, but at the same time I understood it. While I prefer the original touch controllers I overall considered it to be an upgrade.Īs time went on and it started to be clear that Facebook was abandoning their PC headsets in favor of the quest line, I was disappointed and felt a little betrayed. I've been very happy with it as a headset overall, both for comfort and clarity. Rift S was the natural choice for me when it came out, and I got it on launch. I've always been a PC gamer primarily so PC VR is what appeals to me most, especially since I have the hardware to run it well. First person perspective, motion controls, etc. It's everything I would hope for in a VR version. The new VR Resident Evil looks so amazing. I recently played it through Dolphin VR, and even though it was the same exact same game but with depth and 3D, it was really cool and a lot of fun. Resident Evil 4 on gamecube was one of my favorite games growing up.
